The silver Jubilee collector coin was designed by textile artist Maija Lavonen.

The Jubilee 2000 collector coin celebrates the international Church jubilee and the 700th anniversary of the Turku Cathedral. The edge of the obverse side is lined with the motto of the jubilee, "Annus iubelei MM – Annus spei."
