How to find your product

You can search for the products in the Search section at the bottom left corner of the page and by browsing the products by topic. The top of the page includes the category Jubilee and collector coins. It is divided into product series indicated on the left side of the page.

Jubilee and collector coins can be browsed by product series, by topic, by material and by quality. You can also search for jubilee and collector coins by year of issue.

How to read product information

All products are accompanied by a Read more link which can be used to get more information and to see product images. The Jubilee and collector coins category includes plenty of additional information on the theme of the coin and images of both sides and of the coin edges.

Availability: The product is included in the Webstore selection if there is a Shopping cart icon next to it.

Technical information: Next to all jubilee coins on the right side of the page, there is an information box with technical information on the coin, including the coin's nominal value, material, diameter, weight, year of issue, designer and mintage.

Shopping cart

The Add to cart link next to the product moves the product to the Shopping cart. At the top right of the screen, you can see the number of products in the shopping cart. You can view the detailed contents of the shopping cart by selecting the Show cart link at the top. You can see the product name, price, number of articles and the total sum on this page. You can change the quantity of products you are ordering by using the + and – buttons. You can delete the contents of the Shopping cart by pressing the Empty cart button.

Placing an order

When you are satisfied with the contents of your Shopping cart, press the Checkout button.

Enter at least your name and address on this page. We also need your e-mail address to send you a confirmation of the order. On this page, you can also subscribe to our newsletter and sign up to receive advance notices of new products. Don't forget to read and accept the Webstore delivery terms. You can modify the contents of your order by selecting the Back button and check your order by selecting the Forward button.

On this page, you can see the products you are ordering, the shipping costs and the total sum of your invoice as well as the contact information you entered. If the information must be corrected, press the Back button. Once you are satisfied with the contents of your order and your contact information, confirm your order by pressing the Place order and Proceed to checkout buttons. You will be directed to the Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy (Finnish Web Payments Ltd) website to pay for your order.

The Order confirmation page contains a summary of your order. This page includes information on the products and amounts ordered, their prices, the total sum of the order along with shipping costs, the order number, your contact information, the delivery method and the possible newsletter and/or advance notice subscription. The order confirmation will also be sent to your e-mail address.

Prices

The product price is always the price indicated in the Webstore when you place your order. The price includes VAT. The shipping cost will be added to the price. The shipping cost is displayed on the screen when you place your order, and in the order confirmation you will receive by e-mail.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs depend on the delivery address. The costs will include postal charges and an insurance fee. The shipping costs will depend on the delivery address of all products in the Shopping cart:

- shipping costs in Finland: €7

- shipping costs to other EU countries €9.5

Methods of payment

Products and their postage are paid in conjunction with the order. The following methods of payment are available for the users of the webstore: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Sampo, Tapiola, Aktia, Nooa, Paikallisosuuspankit, Säästöpankit, Handelsbanken, S-Pankki, Ålandsbanken and credit cards. Online payments are made by using the website of Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy.

Payments by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard

If you would like to pay by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, the Mint of Finland Ltd will act solely as the marketer of the respective products and services and will provide the products to the buyer. All complaints and claims for compensation will be handled by Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy.

With regard to payments made by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy acts as the merchant of the product and the trade transaction takes place between the customer and Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy. The seller is liable to meet all the responsibilities related to the trade. Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy is also the recipient of the payment.

Online banks

Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy (2122839-7) provides the financial and payment service for online payment in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy buys the payment and disburses it to the seller. For the customer the service functions like a conventional online payment.

Delivery times

The products will be sent by post within eight working days.

Replacements and returns

You have 14 days to decide whether you are satisfied with your purchase. If the product does not meet your expectations, you may return or replace it within 14 days of receipt.

How to return and replace products in Finland

1. Returned products must be unused and stored in their original packaging. Please return all items delivered (the certificate of authenticity included).

2. Fill in the returns notification included in the dispatch notice and place it in the parcel. Don't forget to include your bank account number.

Safety

It is safe to make purchases at the Mint of Finland's Webstore:

1. The customer information you submit to us when placing an order is absolutely confidential, and we do not divulge it to third parties.

2. We use SSL Encryption, which is a well-known and very commonly used encryption method. We use this technology to ensure that unauthorised persons cannot read, modify or interfere with the exchange of information between the Mint of Finland's Webstore and our customers. The SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Encryption System is used e.g. by The Nordea Solo online bank, the Sampo online bank, and many other online services requiring secured connections.

3. We will insure your order prior to delivery.

Product storing

Jubilee and collector coins will be delivered in a plastic pill box storage case. Coins should not be removed from the protective case, but if you wish to open the case, you should handle the coins with cotton gloves. You can also use pincers to comfortably handle the coins. We do not recommend rubbing or cleaning coins, old coins included.
