Webstore delivery terms

General information on the Webstore

The Webstore products are sold by the Mint of Finland Ltd, Business ID 0912125-5. We sell our products to legal adults residing in Finland and the EU. The product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change the prices and shipping costs.

Placing an order

Products will be placed in the Shopping cart for online ordering at www.mint.fi. The customer will accept the valid delivery terms when placing the order. All orders will be confirmed by e-mail. Order confirmation requires that an e-mail address be provided when placing the order.

The order confirmation includes the following information:

  • the order number
  • the customer's contact information
  • the names and prices of the products ordered
  • the shipping costs and the total sum of the invoice
  • the estimated time of delivery and the Mint of Finland Webstore's contact information

Methods of payment

Products and their postage are paid in conjunction with the order. The following methods of payment are available for the users of the webstore: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Sampo, Tapiola, Aktia, Nooa, Paikallisosuuspankit, Säästöpankit, Handelsbanken, S-Pankki, Ålandsbanken and credit cards. Online payments are made by using the website of Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy.

Payments by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard

If you would like to pay by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, the Mint of Finland Ltd will act solely as the marketer of the respective products and services and will provide the products to the buyer. All complaints and claims for compensation will be handled by Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy.

With regard to payments made by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy acts as the merchant of the product and the trade transaction takes place between the customer and Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy. The seller is liable to meet all the responsibilities related to the trade. Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy is also the recipient of the payment.

Online banks

Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy (2122839-7) provides the financial and payment service for online payment in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy buys the payment and disburses it to the seller. For the customer the service functions like a conventional online payment.

Delivery times

We ship products on working days. The products will be sent by post within eight working days.

Delivery method and shipping costs

We deliver the products by post. The shipping costs include the postal and packing charges and the postal insurance fee. The shipping costs are €7 in Finland and €9.5 in the other EU countries.

Replacements and returns

The customers have a 14-day right to a refund under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The right to return items only applies to unused and sellable products stored in their original packaging.

How to return and replace products in Finland

1. Returned products must be unused and stored in their original packaging. Please return all items delivered (the certificate of authenticity included).

2. Fill in the returns notification included in the dispatch notice and place it in the parcel. Don't forget to include your bank account number.

3. Return the product in the same package it was delivered to you. Returns are free of charge. Send to:
