"The Government 200 years" collector coin is launched today
Today is the 200th anniversary of the opening of the Council of State in Turku. In honour of the anniversary, the Mint of Finland has launched a silver collector coin with a nominal value of 10 euros. Read more

The artists living in Finland are invited to participate.
Collector Coin Committee 13.11.2009
The design competition for the collector coin “Eero Saarinen and Finnish architecture” was won by Juha Kauko.
The Collector Coin committee set by the Finnish Ministry of Finance arranged a public competition for the designing of the silver collector coin, and received 36 proposals by the set deadline. Designer Juha Kauko won with his proposal "On the other side". Read more

The design competition for the collector coin ”Minna Canth and equality” was won by Reijo Paavilainen.
The Collector Coin committee set by the Finnish Ministry of Finance arranged a public competition for the designing of the silver collector coin, and received 16 proposals by the set deadline. The winner was Reijo Paavilainen´s proposal "Eye of the Needle". Read more
