Mothers commemorative coin € 20, proof

The lovely Mothers collector coin is designed by pre-schooler Aleksei Kulagin, age 6. The collector coin pays tribute to the importance of each and every mother. The Mothers collector coin is a part of the Finland 100 programme coordinated by the Ministry of Finance.

The designer of the collector coin, six-year-old Aleksei Kulagin, named his winning drawing minted on the coin ”Mother brought me a balloon”. The balloon on the collector coin evokes celebration – when you have a party, you get balloons.

This collector coin with a nominal value of EUR 20 is packaged in a clear protective casing, set in a collector coin box printed with the technical specifications of the coin.

This silver coin struck in Mint of Finland's factory in Vantaa is a part of the Finland 100 programme of the centennial year of Finland's independence. The collector coin has been granted the Key Flag Label of the Association for Finnish Work.
