How to find the product you want

You can search for products in our Webstore using the search field at the top of the page or by browsing products by category through the menu on the left. You can browse commemorative and collector coins by product series, subject, material or quality.

Availability: an image of a shopping cart on the product page indicates that the product is available through the Outlet Store.

Technical data: the product page of each commemorative coin includes an info box on the right-hand side of the page, indicating the coin's nominal value, material, diameter, weight, year stamp, designers and mintage.

The ordering process

1/4 Shopping cart

The 'Add to cart' link on the product page will place the product in your shopping cart. At the top right corner of the screen, you can see the quantities of each product in the shopping cart. You can view the detailed contents of your shopping cart by clicking on the purple arrow. The names, prices, quantities and total sum of products in your shopping cart are displayed on the shopping cart page. You can change the quantities of products in your shopping cart by entering the desired quantity in the product's box and clicking on the 'Update' button. You can empty your shopping cart by clicking on 'Empty cart'.

Once you are satisfied with the contents of your shopping cart, click on the 'Proceed to check-out' or 'Continue to shop' button.

Page 2/4 Your contact information

You must enter your name and address at minimum on this page. We will also require an e-mail address to send your order confirmation to. You can also subscribe to our electronic newsletter on this page. Once you are happy with your order and contact information, review the Webstore's delivery terms and accept them. By clicking on the 'Continue' button, you can proceed to check the accuracy of your order and contact details.

Page 3/4 Order confirmation

This page displays the products you are about to order, delivery charges, the total amount of the invoice and the contact details you have provided. If there is something to correct in the information, click on the 'Back' button. You will pay for the products and delivery charges when you confirm your order. Once you are happy with your order, proceed to pay for it by clicking on the button (Paytrail Oyj) at the bottom right corner of the screen. You will be directed to the website of Paytrail Oyj to make the payment.

Note! Remember to return to the Webstore after paying for your order, in order to ensure that your payment is registered. A return link on the payment form (e.g. "Return to vendor's website") will return you to the Webstore from the payment service.

Sivu 4/4 Confirmation of payment

The 'Confirmation of payment' screen presents a summary of the order you have placed. The products you ordered, their quantities and prices, the total amount of your order including delivery charges, your order number, the contact details you provided, the selected delivery method and possible newsletter and/or advance notification subscription will be displayed on this page. We will also send your order confirmation to the e-mail address you provided. If you have not received an order confirmation on the same day you placed your order, please contact the Mint of Finland's customer service.

Prices

You will always pay the price displayed in the Webstore at the time your order is placed. The price includes VAT. The amount of delivery charges will be determined by the selected delivery method and displayed in the order confirmation displayed on screen and sent to you by e-mail.

Delivery charges

We deliver our products by post using Itella or UPS. Domestic orders are delivered only by Itella. Our delivery charges include postage, packing and postal insurance. With Itella, delivery charges are €7 to Finland and €20 to other EU Member States. UPS prices are determined by the country of destination and weight of the shipment. Methods of payment

Products and their postage are paid in conjunction with the order. The following methods of payment are available for the users of the webstore: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Sampo, Tapiola, Aktia, Nooa, Paikallisosuuspankit, Säästöpankit, Handelsbanken, S-Pankki, Ålandsbanken and credit cards. Online payments are made by using the website of Paytrail Oyj.

Payments by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard

If you would like to pay by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, the Mint of Finland Ltd will act solely as the marketer of the respective products and services and will provide the products to the buyer. All complaints and claims for compensation will be handled by Paytrail Oyj.

With regard to payments made by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, Paytrail Oyj acts as the merchant of the product and the trade transaction takes place between the customer and Paytrail Oyj. The seller is liable to meet all the responsibilities related to the trade. Paytrail Oyj is also the recipient of the payment.

Online banks

Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) provides the financial and payment service for online payment in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj buys the payment and disburses it to the seller. For the customer the service functions like a conventional online payment.

Delivery times

We ship orders on working days. As a rule, products will be sent by post in one or two working days, but no later than four days from the order date. If your order includes unreleased products, the entire order will be posted to you within four business days of their release date.

Replacements and returns

You have 14 days to decide whether you are satisfied with your purchase. If the product does not meet your expectations, you may return or replace it within 14 days of receipt.

How to return and replace products in Finland

 1. Returned products must be unused and stored in their original packaging. Please return all items delivered (the certificate of authenticity included).

 2. Fill in the returns notification included in the dispatch notice and place it in the parcel. Don't forget to include your bank account number.

 3. Return the product in the same package it was delivered to you. Returns are free of charge. Send to:

How to return products from outside Finland

 1. Returned products must be unused and stored in their original packaging. Please return all items delivered (the certificate of authenticity included).

 3. Return the product in the same package it was delivered to you. Add a sufficient number of stamps and send to:

Safety

It is safe to make purchases at the Mint of Finland's Webstore.

The customer information you submit to us when placing an order is absolutely confidential, and we do not divulge it to third parties. We will insure your order prior to delivery.

Product storing

Proof-quality jubilee and collector coins will be delivered in a plastic pill box storage case. Coins should not be removed from the protective case, but if you wish to open the case, you should handle the coins with cotton gloves. You can also use pincers to comfortably handle the coins. We do not recommend rubbing or cleaning coins, old coins included.
