Finland's national landscapes symbolise the Finnish character and have a generally recognised significance in Finland's national culture, history and perception of nature. Mint of Finland will release a base-metal commemorative coin series on Finnish national landscapes.
In the summer of 2017, the Finns voted for nine of their most beloved national landscapes to be featured on the coins. The commemorative coin series opens with the landscape that received the most votes, and the first commemorative coin will be struck in honour of Koli National Park in North Karelia.
The design of the coin is based on a photograph taken by Juha-Pekka Järvenpää
Postage is EUR 7 for domestic orders and EUR 20 to other EU Member States, regardless of how many products are ordered. Collector coins have the 14-day right of exchange and return provided for in the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.
